I'm am looking for Argentine (not ballroom) Tango partners (male) to practice with or a teacher for private or group class in or near Palm Springs. I've already tried the class at Billy Reed's and didn't find it very satisfying. Being in Palm Springs, I should add that I am female.

Any leads would be much appreciated.

Call Margo at 760-324-6572 and ask her about Practica & Milonga. Let her know her number came from Brian over at Desert Swing Dance Club (www.DesertSwingDanceClub.com). Brian is the president of the dance club and he's pretty up to date on all dancing info in the area.

Astro, unfortunately, I think that Billy Reed's class was the only place in town for what you're looking for. Maybe you could give it another shot? Otherwise, you may have to travel to L.A. to find something.

My name is Larry and I will be moving to Twentynine palms within the month.
I teach beginning tango here where I live now and am really looking forward to dancing there in the desert. I just got back from the San Diego tango fest and had a good time.

Please contact me. I went to Billy Reed's this Monday and I understand your not liking it. I will never go again.
I can see that most weekends I will have to go to LA or San Diego to dance.
Please contact me and maybe we could practice together if your up to it.
