New Museum?

I received some relocation information recently and inside was a map/directory of Palm Springs. On it listed a site that said "future home of Natural History Museum". I was very excited! I am hoping to relocate there, and I am currently a grad student of museum science, so I was hoping to work in a museum environment.
Does anyone know anything about the new museum - who to contact, when it might be completed, etc?
