David Clarish Hi,
You will also have to check out The Living Desert in Palm Desert. A fun & great place to take the kids...

Natalie Lambert Hello Snowballgal:

In addtion to the fabulous suggestions from Jojo, may I also suggest taking a nice hike in the Indian Canyons - 760.325.5673. They offer guided tours and the canyons are just beautiful!

Also, if your children are into Museums, there is the Palm Springs Air Museum 760.778.6262 and the Palm Springs Art Museum - 760.322.4800.

Looks like you guys will have a fun filled week!

Best,
Natalie Lambert

Jojo OK, then I suggest you look into....

Hiking - when you get into town, ask for directions to Ramon Road. You'll want to head west until it ends which is where you'll find some of the best trails.

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway - see: http://palmsprings.com/active/tramway.html

The Living Desert - see: http://palmsprings.com/points/desert.html

And, if they're adventureous, how about a hummer tour or even a horse guided trail ride? Here are some links for more info:

Also, there's a Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert. You can reach them at 760-321-0602.

Best Things To See And Do For A Family

We plan to be in Palm Springs the last week of December 2008. We have 2 children with us, and would like some ideas of things to see and places to go. We are planning to driving to L.A. for 1 day, my daughter wants to see Hollywood/Rodeo Drive.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
