Argentine Tango as a Therapy

Not only is Argentine Tango an amazing and sensational dance but it is an ideal workout being far more fun and safe than a gym. Argentine Tango is also being heralded by many in the medical profession around the World as a therapy for all kinds of social, body and mind improvement.

BACKGROUNDBill and Anna (England) studied in California for two years under Paul Palmintere who was the assistant to the great Orlando Paiva (Snr). They continued their studies into the multifarious styles of Argentine Tango under many of the Masters.

Bill and Anna began dancing over 30 ago and started teaching Argentine Tango in 2006. They dance and teach all three of the main schools of the dance, namely Tango Salon, Tango Milonguero and Tango Nuevo.

Bill and Ann dance and teach internationally and are well known in the Tango World for their structured, alternative and organic methods of teaching this complex dance. They have been guest teachers at many clubs both in the UK and in the USA. You will examples of their different styles if you view some of their “After Workshop free dances on www.youtube.com.” They never choreograph even for performances.

They have performed and taught at numerous venues in UK including Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Leicester, Milton Keynes and London; in September 2009 and 2010 at the “Confiteria La Ideal” Buenos Aires. They were also interviewed and filmed at the famous “Club Sin Rumbo” for National TV in Venezuela.
