Default Palm Springs Tram Temperatures Differ from Top to Bottom

I've been to the top of the Tram when it was 100 degrees in Palm Springs and was 55 degrees at the top of the tram. Several hours or all day, it depends on you and what you want to accomplish. You can easily get lost up there. It is a no mans land after several miles so bring a GPS and lots of water if you want to go for a long hike. Make sure you notify the Park Officials of your plans at the beginning of your trail.
