Default New Years' Eve 2010

My wife and I will be in Palm Springs for New Years' and were wondering what events took place in the general area. Would we be better off looking to go elsewhere? I haven't found much online. We are younger (29 & 26), but aren't just looking to get hammered and be wild, just fun, good food, and a good time.

Arrow New Year's Eve events & parties / Palm Springs

I'd suggest you contact the local casinos - Spotlight 29, Morongo Casino, Augustine Casino, Agua Caliente Casino. Most of them will have live music and big New Year's Eve events.

Thumbs up Le Vallauris Restaurant in Palm Springs / New Year's Eve

My girlfriend and I are planning on spending New Year's Eve at Le Vallauris Restaurant in Palm Springs. We absolutely love this restaurant. I don't know what type of "celebration" they will be having for New Year's Eve yet, but sure info will come out soon. Here's what the Zagat Guide had to say about them - “Still the gold standard in the desert”, this French-Mediterranean “gem” hits the trifecta as Palm Springs’ No. 1 for Food, Decor and Service, thanks to an “outstanding” staff, a “romantic” “old-style French” dining room opening to "beautiful", "tree-shaded" patio and "superb", "classic" cuisine paired with an "excellent wine list"; it's "worth every dollar from your children's college fund" to experience what most agree is the "best restaurant in the Coachella Valley."

Default Palm springs new years eve

My husband and I will be in Palm Springs that week as well. We will probably go to Dinks for New Years Eve dinner. Food and drinks are great and the entertainment is fab. Very classy and you can dance.

We were there 2 years ago for the same evening, we had a lot of fun. Age appears to be across the board

Smile New Years Eve - Palm Springs

Try the Rock N Roll Dueling Pianos Show over at the Keys Bar & Restaurant at the Adriatic Resort. You can have a quiet dinner and then head over to the bar for some rockin sing-a-long fun. Or if you already have reservations and have an early dinner just go for the dueling piano fun starting at 8pm. I would make reservations as they are filling up fast for New Year Eve.

Default New Years Eve

Yes, Le Vallauris is awesome and so would the check total. Be careful as we went there for handyman b'day with our own bottle of wine to learn, as the sommelier was pulling the cork from our bottle, he informed us the corkage fee was $35.

For you just under 30, the place I would go is Sammy G's Tuscan Grill. The late seating from 7 'till close is $85 pp with dinner, champagne and dancing to the great house band. The seats you have for dinner are yours for the evening so no fighting for a place to sit. 265 S. Palm Canyon Dr. Palm Springs, CA 92262 760.320. 8041 www.sammygsrestaurant.com

Ok. We know Sam, but we also know the people at Trio, Shanghai Reds, Scandia, Fire Cliff and more.

The bottom line here is that we have referred over ten groups to Sammy G's and they have all thanked us and raved about it.
