to the Classic Club, home to the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic for 2006
and 2007! The Classic Club is a Semi-Private, high end, daily fee
golf facility. Designed by Arnold Palmer Company with the input from
the PGA Tour, the course featuers a Tuscany inspired Clubhouse with
fine dining, locker rooms, banquet facilities and The Bob Hope Gallery
displaying Bob Hope’s lifetime collection of golf memorabilia.  Classic
Club features over 5,000 Pine, California Pepper & Olive Trees with
11,000 cubic yards of mulch and pine straw, and 30 acres of lake and
water features, including 14 stone bridges. This 18 hole, par-72,
7,305 yard unique Arnold Palmer-designed course offers a variety of
tee options, appealing to players at all levels of the game.Classic Club has a rolling terrain with several elevated tees featuring a core design with pine, olive and pepperwood trees, offset by flowering bushes, shrubs, and pine straw ground cover, all playing off of the surrounding mountains and vistas that are exclusive to the Coachella Valley, to make for an incredibly beautiful golf experience. Fore Caddies/Golf concierge are included to enhance the experience. Classic Club is managed by Troon Golf, the leader in upscale golf course management.  |

Collared shirts are required. Shorts must be 'bermuda'-length. INAPPROPRIATE ATTIRE: Tank tops, T-shirts, Denim Jeans and Cut-offs. GOLF SPIKE RULE: Metal spikes or Cross-Trainers NOT allowed. Tennis shoes are permitted. FIVESOMES: Not allowed at any time. DIRECTIONS FROM PALM SPRINGS AIRPORT: (Approx drive time is 15 min -- 10 miles): Start out going SOUTH and turn LEFT onto S EL CIELO RD. Turn LEFT onto E RAMON RD for 6 miles. Merge onto I-10 E for 3.3 miles and take the COOK STREET exit and turn LEFT onto COOK STREET. Turn RIGHT on VARNER ROAD and The Classic Club will be on your LEFT. |
