A Unique Evening of Jazz & Culture > Hosted by Sweet Baby J’ai, the Sunset Jazz Soirée is more than a concert—it’s a celebration of artistry and the power of music education. Held in a private Palm Springs residence, this exclusive event features Yuko Mabuchi’s mesmerizing performance, paired with fine wines and gourmet bites.
A classically trained pianist from Fukui, Japan, Yuko Mabuchi has wowed audiences worldwide with her blend of jazz, classical, and American R&B influences. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2010, she has performed at prestigious venues and mentored young musicians, including her work with the Watts-Willowbrook Youth Orchestra.
Supporting the Next Generation > Proceeds from this event support the Sunset Music & Education Foundation’s SMARTS Initiative (Sharing Music, Accessing Resources, Transforming Students), which provides instruments, scholarships, and mentorship to underserved youth. The evening will also feature performances by SMARTS students, showcasing the impact of music education.
